Slow-cooked Ribs

These are so easy to make, just pop them in the oven and wait. Juicy and tender, delicious! You can also put them on the grill for the last 30 minutes with the barbeque sauce if you prefer.

Equipment

  • Large baking pans
  • Parchment Paper + Aluminum Foil

Ingredients
  

  • 4 lbs. Pork or beef ribs
  • 1 cup low-carb barbeque sauce

For the rub:

  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp Brown Erythritol
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp ground pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
  • Line your baking pans with parchment paper.
  • Mix the spices for the rub together in a small bowl. Rub the ribs with the spices on both the back and the front.
  • Place the ribs, meat side down, in the baking pans.
  • Cover the baking pans with foil and place in the oven. Let them bake for 4 hours until tender.
  • Take the ribs out of the oven and carefully flip over so that the meat is facing up. They will be really tender, so again…carefully!
  • Turn the oven up to 350 degrees.
  • Brush on a generous layer of barbeque sauce and return to the oven, uncovered, until browned, about 20-30 minutes.
